Margaux Menaker (1982-1995) was an enthusiastic biathlete whose potential in this sport and life was cut short by an unfortunate home accident. In memory of her competitive spirit, the Menaker family donated several high-quality biathlon rifles for loan to junior biathletes who exemplify the qualities of hard work, athletic ability, good sportsmanship, and academic excellence that Margaux possessed. Margaux’s Loop is a well-used 5 km lighted section of trail that winds around the biathlon stadium and then heads east to the Raspberry Road bridge, connecting the difficult trails and lighted loop on the Jodphur side of the road with the Kincaid stadium. Friends and family raised the funds and spent many volunteer hours to put in the lighting on this loop.
