It’s Crunch Time!

December 28, 2017/in Trails

With the U.S. Nationals quickly approaching and no significant snow in the forecast, the crew has been taking advantage of these chilly temperatures to make snow for this upcoming event.  The course has been altered to use the entire Snow Making Loop and an effort to make snow by the soccer fields has been the current focus.  Also, over a dozen trailers used by the athletes for waxing and warming are being wired for heat and power.  Regular grooming of the SML is also taking place with fresh comb and tracks set daily.  There’s no shortage of work for this crew who are working around the clock to keep up with routine maintenance, snow making and event preparations.  Of course, so much of this would not be possible without the many hands of our fantastic volunteers.  Thank you!!
