SKAN this Saturday

The last hurrah of the racing season is SKAN…which stands for Ski Kincaid All Night.  Yes, this is a 24-hour race that begins on Saturday, March 25 at 10 am and ends Sunday at 10 am.  There are also 6 and 12 hour options and the course can be skied solo, with a buddy, or a team of 4 or 8.  It’s a social atmosphere with lots of good food, warming tents and even a dance party.  For more information, click on the “Races” tab on our website.

If this sounds like torture to you, there’s plenty of great Spring skiing to be had throughout the Anchorage bowl and in Chugiak and Eagle River.  Take advantage of these gorgeous sunny days and enjoy the trails!
