Just What We’ve Been Waiting For!

The snow has arrived in Anchorage and surrounding areas.  At Kincaid Craig reported 4″ of snow before it turned to freezing rain around 4:00 am….and still raining at 6 00 am.  Click the Kincaid button for latest grooming.  Matt said the Hillside had 6″ at 7:00 am and it was still coming down.  He took the snow cat out and set track everywhere he groomed.  Click the Hillside button for latest grooming.  Out in Chugiak, Bill said the trails have 7-8″ with more snow falling.  He spent the night trying to stay ahead of the snow as he put down a classic course for the high school race this morning…Chugiak Stampede to kick off at 11 am.  The race should be over around 2 pm.  Click the Beach Lake button for latest grooming.

The Groomers will be back on the trail tonight.  Enjoy the new snow and the trails!
