The Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage (NSAA) awards scholarships for each school year. NSAA has awarded college scholarships to Anchorage area high school seniors and college students for over twenty five years.  
  • The scholarship application is available online beginning January 1, 2013.
  • Applications are due April 1, 2013 by 5pm.

The award is for one academic year, and may be used for any educationally related expenses at any college or university chosen by the scholarship winner. Scholarships are awarded based on performance and achievement. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the college or university.

2011-12 Scholarship Recipients

The Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage (NSAA) $9,000 in scholarship funds were awarded to seven outstanding student-athletes:

UAA students Melissa Flynn and Iain Miller will receive Dr. Elizabeth Tower Memorial scholarships thanks to the generosity of Dr. Tower's family and friends. NSAA scholarships were awarded to Dimond High student Sara Falconer, Chugiak High student Isaac Lammers, South High students Alexandra Cress and Kianna Wika, Service High students Jordon Pruszenski and Forrest Tarbath and West High student Doug Watts.spacer
